Ideas For Dates

FreshMalt is the place to get ideas for dates online. It is filled with numerous plans for your night or day so that you can relax and enjoy yourselves. Quality things to do are provided for singles, couples and even the married crew.

You can check out some ideas for dates below, but to really see the magic of the site, search or browse for anything you want to do and you’ll be privy to a wealth of plans for any occasion.

We’re currently only in New York City, but that will change down the road. If you take a minute to let us know where you live, we’ll be sure to let you know when we come to your part of the world.

  • Play tennis. If you’re experienced players, play for real, but if you’re not, just play for fun. See how well the two of you can do against each other in a singles match. Then when you’ve worked up a good appetite, head to the nearest restaurant that will accept sweaty patrons.
  • Take a yoga class. While you surely don’t make each other stressed, you may have stressful lives and need a little quiet meditation. If you don’t want to commit yourself to a recurring class, find one that allows you to pay by the session.
  • Watch a poetry slam. See the bards battle it out, using their best iambic pentameter, at a local coffee house. Add a sandwich, some soup or a salad and a cappuccino, and you’ve got a full night of entertainment. Slams are often scheduled for weekend nights, but check the café’s calendar for matinees and special events.
  • Have a spa day. Treat yourselves to his-and-hers spa packages and find yourselves relaxing in a mud bath, having a facial, getting manicures and pedicures and steaming in the sauna. Especially if you don’t pamper yourselves often, it can be a welcome treat.
  • Go ice-skating. Perfect your spins or simply try to remain vertical at a local ice rink. Race each other or just skate laps hand-in-hand and enjoy the atmosphere. Even if it’s not freezing outside, don’t forget your sweater, gloves and scarf, because it’ll probably be cold on the ice.
  • Watch soccer. Not a fan of American football? Go to an Irish or English pub or a Latin-American cantina and have a few pints while taking in what the rest of the world refers to as football. The fast-moving sport features a continuous clock for those who hate time-outs.
