Creative Date Ideas
FreshMalt is designed to provide you with creative date ideas, so that you can enjoy yourselves and have new experiences. If you find that you’re always doing the same thing, such as dinner or drinks, use this site to mix it up a little bit and plan something new.
You can find below a few quick creative date ideas, but search or browse FreshMalt and you’ll have access to numerous plans for your night or day. Take advantage of what the city can offer and you’ll surely impress your date.
We’re only covering New York City at this moment, but if you let us know where you live, we’ll be sure to look into bringing FreshMalt over to your city.
- Take a boat ride on a beautiful summer day. What can be more romantic than going out on a lake in the middle of the summer? It’s just the two of you, a perfect opportunity to talk and enjoy the scenery. You can even show off your rowing capabilities that you’ve been practicing every day at the gym.
- Take a train. Jump on a train to a nearby city and explore. Choose a destination ahead of time or just pick one at random. Then amble through the town and find a place to have dinner, browse the local shops or take in a show at a theater.
- Go for a scenic drive. If you live in the city, you might not see the likes of forests and grassy hills too often, and if it’s an exceptionally large city, you probably don’t drive, either. Escape the pavement for a few hours and take a drive through nature. If you’ve got the funds, rent a fancy car.
- Cook a meal together. Plan your appetizer, entrée and sides. Then start at the grocery and select your ingredients. Then head home and preheat the oven. After you put together the various courses, you can reward yourselves by eating the results. Don’t forget dessert.
- Visit a conservatory or botanical garden. Browse through the collection of flora, ranging from all different climates and geographical locations of origin at a conservatory. Often maintained by the parks department, these establishments house flowers and plants you’ll never see on the streets or even in a regular park.
- Climb a rock wall. Lace up your cross trainers and head for the nearest indoor rock-climbing facility. Reassure your date, if he or she is afraid of heights, that the summit will be climbed with the security of a harness. Once you get there, see who can get to the top first.
